selecting the right mattress for your maxtrix bed

Mattresses are an important part of any bed purchase. Please view our mattress guide above for some recommendations. One of the advantagaes of using a Maxtrix mattress is that the Maxtrix mattress was designed in conjunction with the rest of the beds and bed systems. The Maxtrix mattresses are all 5" thick so they give you a full 11" of guard rail space between the mattress and the upper edge of the guard rail. Maxtrix mattresses are also made using natural materials and an organic cotton cover which has been treated with Nanotex, a patented fiber treatment that resists accidental spills.

If you prefer a slightly thicker mattress, especially if your child is a teen or a tween, then we recommend the Eco-Sense natural memory foam mattress. The Eco-Sense memory foam mattress is a natural plant based memory foam with a natural bamboo cover. This mattress is 8" thick and better suited for older children. Of course, you can use it for a child of any age as well.
